The Cockerel And The Fox by Helen Ward

In this re-telling of the traditional tale, Chanticleer the cockerel has a premonition of terrible danger. And then something foxy creeps into the cabbage patch. Wonderful contrasts in colour and an instinctive feel for movement give the animals centre stage.
