    A piece of card containing clues to the next Harry Potter novel has sold for £28,680 at Sotheby's auction house in London.

    The 93-word teaser to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, handwritten by author JK Rowling, was put under the hammer to raise money for charity.

    The rare original manuscripts for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, one of the best-loved childrens` stories of all time, will go up for auction this month.

    The novel of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the flying car with a big personality was written by James Bond author Ian Fleming in 1961 as he recovered after a heart attack and is based on stories he used to tell his son.

    IN THE fantasy film world, the biggest battle of the sequels is about to start and, despite not opening for another three weeks, Lord of the Rings is set to beat Harry Potter.

    Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, which opened last week, is forecast to take between 212 million dollars and 218 million dollars in its first month of screening in the US. Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers is predicted to take between 236 million and 242 million dollars in its first four weeks, which spreads over the Christmas holiday. That would better the original Lord of the Rings movie.
