Geoffrey's grasp of the ironic, unusual, and unexpected are the hallmarks of a new generation. Leaving no stone unturned, no vision incomplete, BETWEEN TWO JUNES IS A FOREST is about love, loss, growth, pain, and tolerance. Geoffrey easily disproves the old stereotype that teenagers are superficial and naive. He exudes maturity as he communicates his political views with more eloquence than most adults, but at the same time he is a typical teen interested in girls, sports, music, and seeing the world. BETWEEN TWO JUNES IS A FOREST is a work of great depth written by a teen of unending complexity.

Hey. This is Dillie. People tell me that I have talent. Well, I'd much rather call it luck of the draw. I was born with a faulty emotional system; I've always needed a way to get out my emotions, so I use poetry as a method, and poetry uses me. I hope (and to be so bold as to give you my own feelings in such a limited manner) that I go far in my own life, and that you go even farther in yours. This book is such a tribute to life and to the pursuit of happiness, such that I urge you to read it for its awareness of the human condition, its honesty, its integrity, and it depth - all things nowadays hard to come by. I just reread the final copy, and although it is only poetry, I must say that this book has more stuff in it than any other book I've ever read. I don't like talking about myself, so this is all I'm going to say: if you like stories, action, love, adventure, and basically anything that you can think of, it's all inside the two covers of this book, and believe you me, it's one big forest. (Yeah, really cheesy, I know!) - - - Dillie (Geoffrey Dilenschneider)
